Basics

What is Cue'd Up?

Cue'd Up is a casual pool league tracker for iPhone. One person in the group (the "scorekeeper") logs games as they happen — winner, loser, optional note — and the app handles standings, head-to-head records, win streaks, and shareable session recaps.

Built for friend groups who play regularly. Not for pro tournaments — no brackets, no handicap calculator, no payment splitting.

How do I add players?

Two places: the Log tab (tap + Add Player above the matchup picker) or Settings → Players (tap + Add). Type the name, hit Add, and they're available in every dropdown.

Free leagues hold up to 2 named players. Adding a 3rd triggers the Pro upsell. You can also drop in temporary guest players that disappear after the session ends — see the guests question below.

Why can't I edit or delete a game?

Logged games are immutable on purpose. If players could quietly rewrite results, the standings stop meaning anything — someone's always going to find their record and decide it should be different.

Locking it down keeps the league honest and avoids the "who edited what?" arguments.

If you fat-fingered the wrong winner, use Undo Last Game immediately — see below.
How do I undo a game I just logged?

On the Log tab, the most recent game has an Undo button next to it. That removes the game cleanly from standings and history.

The undo only works on the last game logged — once you log another game on top, the previous one is locked.

What's a "guest" player?

Guests are temporary players you add for one night — the friend visiting from out of town, the new face at the bar. They appear in standings and game history for that session, then auto-remove when the session ends.

Their game records stay in history but don't count toward anyone's permanent stats. Free leagues can have unlimited guests; they just can't be promoted to named players past the 2-player cap.

Singles vs doubles — what's the difference?

Singles (1v1) is the default — one winner, one loser per game. Standings, head-to-head, and streaks are tracked per individual.

Doubles (2v2) is a separate league format. You set Team A and Team B at the start of the session, then log winners with one tap. Standings show team pairs ("Cody & Jacob") and head-to-head shows team-vs-team matchups instead of individual rivalries.

Format is set when you create the league. Want to track both? Make two leagues — one for singles night, one for doubles night.

Leagues & sharing

How do I switch or delete a league?

Tap the league name at the top of Settings. The menu has Switch League, Rename, and Delete.

Delete is disabled if it's your only league — the app needs at least one to run, so create another one first if you want to start fresh. Deleting a league removes its players, games, and history permanently, so the confirmation prompt asks twice.

How do I share my standings?

Tap the share icon on the Stats tab. Cue'd Up generates a transparent 1080×1920 sticker showing your league name, the night's headline ("CODY COOKED EVERYONE"), the top 3 standings, and the app's brand mark.

From the share sheet you can post it straight to Instagram Stories, save it to Photos, or send it via any other share target. The Stories integration drops the sticker on top of your camera so you can frame it over a photo of the table.

What's the read-only view link?

Each league has a public URL friends can open in any browser to see current standings, head-to-head, and game history — no app install, no account.

The scorekeeper logs games, everyone else just bookmarks the link. Generate the link from Settings → "Share view link". This is a Pro feature.
