What we collect

League data you create

When you use Cue'd Up, the app stores the league information you create so it can sync across reinstalls and power the read-only view link for your crew:

  • League names and accent color
  • Player names and whether they're permanent or "guest"
  • Game results — winner, loser, date, optional note
  • Session timestamps

That's the entire dataset. No real names are required — players are just labels you type in.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

Cue'd Up works without an account — but you can optionally Sign in with Apple from Settings to keep your data in sync across your iPhone, iPad, and any new device you set up later.

When you sign in, Apple gives us:

  • An Apple-issued user identifier (a stable token, not your real email). We use this only to link your leagues, players, and games to one account.
  • An email address — either your real email, or Apple's private relay email if you chose "Hide My Email". We do not send marketing email and don't share it with anyone.
  • Optionally, your name, if you chose to share it during the Apple prompt. We don't display it back to you and don't share it.

Sign in with Apple is fully optional. If you sign out, your local data stays on your device — only the cloud link is removed. You can also email support@cued-up.app to delete the account record entirely.

Device identifier

Before you sign in (or if you never do), Cue'd Up generates a random per-install identifier on your device. It's a random string, not tied to your Apple ID, advertising ID, or any personal info — we use it to keep your league data scoped to the right phone so two installs on different devices don't blur together.

This identifier is destroyed when you delete the app.

Pro purchase status

If you buy Cue'd Up Pro through the App Store, we store a flag against your device install (or your Sign in with Apple account, if you've signed in) indicating Pro is unlocked. No card information ever touches our servers — Apple handles the payment.

What we don't collect

None of this, ever

  • Your contacts, photos, or files
  • Your location, precise or coarse
  • Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
  • Analytics events tied to your identity
  • Audio, microphone, or camera input
  • Your phone number
  • Your real email (unless you choose to share it via Sign in with Apple — see above)

Cue'd Up has no sign-up flow. The first time you open the app, you start logging games — no account required. Sign in with Apple is offered as an optional way to sync across devices, never as a gate.

Where your data lives

Our cloud database

League and game data is stored in our hosted database (Supabase, running on AWS in the US). This is what makes your data survive a phone wipe or reinstall, and what makes the read-only view link work for friends on the web.

Access is restricted to the application — no individual at our company manually reads league data. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

Your device

A local copy of your league data is kept on your iPhone so the app works offline and renders instantly. Deleting the app from your phone removes the local copy.

Sharing & third parties

We don't sell or share your data

League data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies. The only places your data appears outside our database are:

  • Your public view link (Pro). When you generate cued-up.app/?l=ID, anyone with that link can view the league's standings and history in a browser. You control whether to share the link.
  • Share cards. When you tap Share, the app generates an image of your standings on your device. Where you send the image is up to you.

Sub-processors

We use the following services to run the app:

  • Supabase (database hosting)
  • Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, push notifications if enabled in a future version)
  • Netlify (this website's hosting)
  • Cloudflare (DNS for cued-up.app and email forwarding for support@cued-up.app)

Your rights & deletion

Delete your data anytime

You can delete a league at any time from inside the app (Settings → tap league name → Delete League). That permanently removes the league and all of its games, players, and sessions from our database.

If you want to wipe everything across all leagues, email support@cued-up.app and we'll erase it within 7 days.

Export your data

Email the same address and we'll export your league data as JSON. No charge.

Children

Not directed at children under 13

Cue'd Up is intended for casual adult pool league play. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, email us and we'll delete the relevant data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use data, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. For material changes, we'll surface an in-app notice the next time you open the app.
